The ClubWPT Gold $5 Million Invitational Freeroll at Wynn Las Vegas will be the largest free-entry poker tournament ever. But, wait, there’s more.
A World Poker Tour (WPT) press release on Thursday revealed an extra incentive with another $750,000 in cash and prizes added to the mix via a drawing, and everyone is eligible to enter, not just those who compete in the freeroll. Well, not everyone — but anyone who registers for ClubWPT Gold, the WPT’s new sweepstakes-based online poker platform, can enter.
How to Enter and What You Can Win
Those extra cash and prizes should interest just about any poker player, especially the 2025 McLaren GTS sports car up for grabs. The value on that ride is a nice cool $240,000. Other prizes in this separate promotion include a limited edition WPT chip set, Wynn Field Club seats at Allegiant Stadium for the Dec. 16 Las Vegas Raiders game against the Atlanta Falcons, and entry to the ClubWPT Gold Cash Booth where players will have a chance to grab as much as $50,000 in cash.
If you love sports cars, money, football, or poker — and that should make up about 100% of PokerNews readers — all you have to do to enter the contest is to register at ClubWPT Gold and then visit the ClubWPT Golden Tree booth at Encore, Wynn’s attached sister property, from Dec. 8-12.
“In case the chance of playing in a $5 million freeroll was not reason enough for poker players and enthusiasts alike to register with ClubWPT Gold, we have added even more incentive,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Anyone who has signed up for an account could be leaving Wynn as a new owner of one of the most luxurious sports cars in the world.”
On top of the additional prizes, at least 100 players who draw a ticket will receive a Golden Passport into the record-setting $5 million freeroll, which takes place Dec. 13-15 during the third annual WPT World Championship festival at Wynn.
The major poker series is headlined by the return of the $10,400 WPT World Championship (Dec. 14), WPT Ladies Championship (Dec. 14), WPT Prime Championship (Dec. 8), and of course the $5 million freeroll, all taking place at Wynn/Encore on the Las Vegas Strip.
