The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR), an organization that provides networking opportunities for the international community of gambling authorities, has enhanced its board with four new trustees.
Four New Members Were Onboarded
These new additions will help the association face the challenges offered by the ever-shifting regulatory landscape.
The new appointees were unveiled during the IAGR Annual General Meeting in Rome. A total of four new trustees were added to the board, enhancing its ability to address the “evolving challenges of gaming regulations.”
The IAGR described the new appointees as distinguished leaders with vast experience in gaming regulation. As representatives of various global regions, they will also bolster the board’s own understanding of gaming regulation across the world.
The appointees include the following:
- Peter Kesitilwe Emolemo from the Gambling Authority of Botswana (Africa)
- Louis Rogacki from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (North America)
- Kevin Mullally from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (Asia/Oceania)
- Anders Dorph from the Danish Gambling Authority (Europe)
With these new appointments, the IAGR will continue to move forward while maintaining a focus on collaboration. The association aims to foster an international community of regulators that is better prepared to face any regulatory challenges and advance global regulatory standards.
In the meantime, the IAGR will be parting ways with Trude Høgseth Felde and Mabutho Zwane who completed their terms on the board.
President Haden Welcomed the Appointees on Board
Ben Haden, president of the IAGR, commented on the new appointments. He praised the appointees’ diverse expertise and proven leadership across different jurisdictions and said that they would bring “fresh perspectives” to the association. As a result, the IAGR will be able to further strengthen its global approach to gaming regulation, Haden added.
I look forward to collaborating with Peter, Louis, Kevin and Anders as we continue to foster innovation and drive forward effective, responsible regulation for the benefit of the global gaming community.
Ben Haden, president, IAGR
Haden also extended thanks to Trude Høgseth Felde and Mabutho Zwane for their dedicated service. While the two completed their terms on the board, Jason Lane will serve another term as a trustee, president Haden announced.
