The Green Bay Packers suffered a surprising home loss to the Chicago Bears – for the first time since 2015 – which resulted in them dropping to the No. 7 spot on the seeding list. As a result, instead of facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they’re going to play against the Philadelphia Eagles on the Wild Card weekend.

Green Bay Packers Ready for War at the Linc
One of the reasons why the Packers loss the crucial game against the Bears is that their starting quarterback Jordan Love injured his elbow early in the game. His replacement Malik Willis did okay, but it was Green Bay’s runners who kept them in the game until the end.
Unfortunately for the Packers, they missed a couple of good chances in the final quarter (e.g., a two-point conversion), before the Bears scored a field goal in the final second of the game.
It was a disappointing loss, but they need to pull themselves together if they wish to do well on Sunday. There are some good news for them, the best being that Jordan Love will almost certainly return.
QB Jalen Hurts Remains Doubtful for the Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts is still doubtful for Sunday’s clash with the Packers after suffering a concussion three weeks ago. His replacement Tanner McKee did well in his absence, helping the Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys (41:7) and the New York Giants (20:13).
Truth be told, he only threw two touchdowns in those games; the rest were the work of Philly’s runners and defenders. Running back Saquon Barkley, for example, scored two rushing TDs against the Cowboys.
It’s very likely that the RB is going to be in the spotlight in Sunday’s game. The reason for this is not just that the Eagles could be without their first-choice thrower. It’s also because Barkley seems to love playing against the Packers – he scored two TDs the last time they met.
