Baltimore Ravens Need to Keep on Winning

The Baltimore Ravens are 10-5 overall with three wins in their last four games. They’re second in the AFC North Division, even though they have the same record as the Pittsburgh Steelers coming into Week 17.

The good news for them is that the Steelers too play on the 2024 Christmas Day, with a much tougher challenge on their hands. To see what we think will happen in this game, read our Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers preview.

What all this basically means is that if the Ravens beat the Texans, they’ll come much closer to winning the divisional title. They have every right to hope for a win on Christmas Day, given that their recent run has been phenomenal.

Last weekend, they destroyed the Steelers 34-17, with QB Lamar Jackson going 15-for-23 for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

Houston Texans Can Take It Easy on Christmas Day

The Houston Texans are 9-6 in the 2024 NFL. They have two wins more than the Indianapolis Colts, who are second in the AFC South. Even though two more games are left to be played in the regular season, the Texans have already won the divisional title.

In fact, they did it 10 days ago, which explains why they weren’t too fired up in the game with the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend. The Chiefs beat them 27:19, with the Texans’ QB C. J. Stroud throwing for 244 yards, two TDs, and two interceptions.

Houston’s main goal in the remainder of the season is to keep the crucial players healthy. This is why we probably won’t see C. J. Stroud making too many risky runs. Instead, Houston’s guards will do all they can to keep him protected, even if it means he doesn’t gain too many passing yards for the team.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans Week 17 Prediction

Our prediction is that the Texans will take it easy on Christmas. The Ravens will do just the opposite – they will go all-in on December 25 in an attempt to secure the divisional title.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens -4
